Jac Lahav is a curator, writer, painter, sculptor, and multidisciplinary artist whose expansive practice includes painting, social justice, and collaborative murals.
Jac shares his impulses to make art, and among them are to be remembered. Enjoy, and follow Jac on IG.
I included Jac’s “record paintings” in my 2024 curated show, The Sink. Everyone who listens to music (especially if they like 78s) should see this project. He paints record covers, but really makes these as an excuse to reserach our humaity. My favorites are the record covers he is curating to reflect the archives and tastes of notable humans like Sol Lewitt and others.

NOTE: word used that “civilians” might not know: Solipsistic describes the philosophical view that only one's own mind is sure to exist and that the outside world and other minds are uncertain or may not exist. It can also describe someone who is self-absorbed, selfish, and unaware of the needs or perspectives of others.
